The B1000 Portal is a custom-built software application that allows fleet and program managers and parole authorities to manage the alcohol ignition interlock program, in real-time (installations, driver BrAC reading, calibration dates, events, configuration, overrides, software updates etc.).
The information portal is available to authorised persons only. From creation to provision of the data secure authorization layers and special encryption methods guarantee data protection.
The data log is stored on the handset, on the blocking device and in the cloud storage data base. Events are saved recording all relevant events such as date, time, submission or refusal to submit an alcohol test, measured alcohol concentration, engine starts and stops and any attempts to circumvent the device. The data is transferred from the blocking unit to the cloud storage via GSM communication and is fully encrypted for end-to-end security.
